An anchor mastopexy is sometimes needed to correct moderate to severe ptosis, or droop. Named for the incisional pattern which encircles the areola, improving symmetry, vertically below, hidden by undergarment and bathing suit, ending as a horizontal incision hidden within the inframammary fold. While incisions take a full year to heal, these photos illustrate results at 5 months where already the incisions have faded. Small saline implants were utilized to restore upper breast fullness.
